Farm & Critter Tour

At the end of November the critters among us are the flock of laying hens and their friends and neighbors, nine lambs.  If the weather stays warm the bees also may be active around their 12 hives.  This last tour of the year includes feeding lambs and chickens, and investigating the chicken barn to see who has laid eggs yet and how we keep the wild birds from eating the organic food.  We will explore the 2 greenhouses to see what we produce in the winter and learn a bit about our growing methods.  Tractors will be out for kids to climb on.  Leader will be farm owner Pauline Lord. Children under 5 are free.
